$10,000 funding from the Malama Pacific Foundation will empower Hear 4 Hope to expand their efforts in several key areas:

Community Outreach: Increasing the reach of support programs to every corner of our community.
Early Intervention: Offering education to catch hearing loss early and prevent long-term decline.
Resource Access: Providing vital tools to individuals who would otherwise lack the means to get help.
Research & Advocacy: Exploring local needs and fighting for systemic changes to improve hearing health statewide.

Cyber Safe Seniors

$1,000 funding from the Malama Pacific Foundation will empower Cyber Safe Seniors to expand their efforts in several key areas:

Expanding the Reach: Helping the organization grow its presence from Hawaii to Texas and beyond, bringing these vital skills to seniors across the country.
Resource Development: Providing the necessary funds to maintain and update their extensive online curriculum and workshop materials.
Sustaining Free Access: Ensuring that "Cyber Safe" education remains a community right, not a paid privilege.

The Kokua Tree

Malama Pacific Foundation has provided $1,000 to help Kokua Tree scale their operations. This funding is being put to work immediately to:

Equip New Volunteers: As more students join the mission, the grant provides essential tools like fruit pickers and scales.
Maintain Safety and Sustainability: Replacing worn equipment and covering operational costs (like liability insurance) ensures the team can work safely on uneven terrain.
Expand the Reach: Supporting the logistics of transporting fresh produce from trees to the tables of those in need.
